  Free Guitar Chord Chart

Here are some common chords in this free guitar chord chart to help you get started with our free guitar tabs. If you hear the chords played a little differently in the songs, feel free to improvise and change them a little! There are actually many different ways to play the chords listed in our free guitar chord chart. Especially in the suspended chords, such as Csus2 and Dsus4. So bring out your creativity and listen closely to music as you learn to play!
  Guitar Chord Chart Fingering
An x signifies not to play the string or to mute it for that particular chord. To mute it, lightly touch the string with your finger that is closest to it. An o signifies that you play the string in it's open position, without pressing down anywhere on it.
  Barre Chord
Some chords are easier played as a bar chord. Lay your first finger across the strings as shown in each chord picture. If you maintain the bar chord fingering, you can even move up and down the guitar frets to play additional guitar chords.
